1995 Michael Jackson Lisa Marie Presley Diane Sawyer interview was one of the most interesting as it sought to throw light on the relationship between them and end any sort of speculation that the entire marriage exercise was nothing but a PR stunt planned to take the attention away from allegations of child abuse against Jackson.

Everyone wanted to know the intimate details of their romantic story and the interview tried to capture the initial love and how the whole thing culminated into a marriage.

Diane Sawyer started by asking as how it all started and Jackson replied that he had always found Lisa to be very attractive and when he had first read about her first marriage he was heartbroken. The interview later on tried to focus as to who proposed first. Lisa admitted that it was he who proposed marriage and he did it on the telephone.

They also claimed that they had been going around for about four months before the question of marriage popped up.

Diane later on moved to the controversial question as to whether there entire marriage thing was just in the media and that they lived their lives separately in private.

Both of them seemed sort of annoyed at the question and answered in the negative about the media speculation. They claimed to love each other and they were not faking it for media attention.
