Angelina Jolie To Play Gucci

angelina_jolie_300x400[1] We didn’t even know there had been so much drama in the Gucci empire, but it looks like there was enough of it to attract Angelina Jolie to star in the upcoming movie “Gucci”.

Angelina is going to take the role of Patrizia Reggano who was famed designer Gucci’s ex-wife. Well at one point this Patrizia woman had hired a hitman to murder Gucci. She was successful at it. Gucci was killed in 1995 and subsequently Patricia was caught and sentenced to twenty-nine years in prison.

Director Ridley Scott plans to tell that whole story along with telling us all about the glitz and glamour of the House of Gucci and the Gucci family dynasty back in the 70’s and 80’s as well.

We’ll have to be patient because the film won’t even get into production until 2010.
