Candy Spelling Settles Lawsuit With Her Maid
November 26, 2009 by Richie WoodenSpears
Candy Spelling, wife of the late great television producer Aaron Spelling and mom to television actress Tori Spelling, got sued a few months ago by her maid.
According to sources Lourdes Serrano, the maid, sued Candy for wrongful termination. Serrano claims that when she took her two ten minute breaks per day she was asked to clock out and was not paid these minutes. Then upon complaining she was let go.
Well it looks like the lawsuit is no more. It was settled and not to favorably for Lourdes it seems. Sources say that she didn’t get much money and further one source states about the settlement money, “Maybe in maid money it’s a lot.” That’s kind of a cold thing to say.
Anyway, whatever the settlement was we hope that Candy, who is an effen multimillionaire, can be a little less Mr. Scrooge with ten minute break times. Hopefully it’s a lesson learned.
