Could Jackson be Buried in Concrete?
July 4, 2009 by Richie Berges
There are fears by the family of Michael Jackson that some people could vandalise the superstar’s grave once he has been buried.
Hence, rumours of a ‘double burial’ taking place and the golden casket that Michael is going to be buried in should be surrounded by concrete is raising eyebrows in the showbiz world.
Vandalism fears come as there are concerns that the controversies like Michael Jackson’s child abuse charges could result in his grave being attacked by people who disagreed with the ways of the superstar.
Encasing the coffin in concrete could also protect crazed fans who want to have access to the star’s body once it has been buried.
The details of the burial are yet to be confirmed because confirmation of the final resting place of Jackson is a long way off, with the Jackson family pushing for the King of Pop to be laid to rest at his home at the Neverland Ranch. Currently, Californian law states that burying a body outside a designated cemetery is highly illegal.
Jermaine Jackson is Michael Jackson’s brother. In his determination for the star to be laid to rest, he said: “The people who make the laws can change the laws.”
It is not certain where the body of Michael Jackson is currently being held. Some say that the body is at the Forest Lawn Memorial Centre, but even this has not been confirmed.
The Jackson family could benefit from the secrecy that surrounds where the body of Michael Jackson lies. This is because it would prevent crazed fans from doing bad things to the grave of the star in the future. It could be said that this decision when combined with the rumours of the coffin being surrounded in concrete could make sure that Michael Jackson rests in peace once and for all.
