Homer Simpson Crashing Wisteria Lane
November 11, 2009 by Richie Berges
Homer Simspson is a national hero and therefore Dan Castellaneta, the man who portrays Homer’s voice on “The Simpsons”, should be worshipped and revered. But does this idea that “Desperate Housewives” producers have for a storyline “jump the shark”?
In an upcoming storyline Dan Castellaneta will play a pilot who crashes a small plane in the Fairview neighborhood. For those of you who are still fans of the annoying “Desperate Housewives”, this will be a cliffhanger episode during the Christmas season. Dan’s plane will crash into many Christmas trees and some unlucky actors who have been probably asking for a raise may wind up dead.
We’ll probably watch it to see all the blood and gore, if any, but we’re seriously questioning the decision for a storyline like this. Aren’t these gimmicks usually done when the series is on its last few breaths?
