Leighton Meester — Gossip Girl Star Lights Candles in Studio

Leighton Meester and her boyfriend Sebastian Stan were seen at Isabella’s on New York’s Upper West Side. They were together with two male friends. Meester ordered a bacon burger with cheddar and fried onions. Although they were not quite display their affection for each other, they seemed to be relax with each other as they ate outsie.

Meester, the23-year-old star of Gossip Girl, also sang for Cobra Starship’s “Good Girls Go Bad”, although bassist Alex Suarez admits that he hasn’t even seen Gossip Girl before meeting Meester.
He said that before they went to do the video shoot, he didn’t even have an idea about what she looked like until they introduced them to Suarez.

Suarez said that she is really nice, friendly and professional to work with; although he finds that her girly behavior in the studio somewhat weird. Like for example, she likes turns the lights dim in the studio and lights a few candles. Suarez says that he has never seen candles in the studio before.

leighton_meester Cobra Starship’s on-camera collaboration with the Gossip Girl star gave way for two 2009 MTV Video Music Award nominations, for pop video and best direction. Maybe being a girly Gossip girl isn’t so bad, after all.
