Mel Gibson & Leonardo Di Caprio To Make Viking Movie

Well, it looks like Mel Gibson and Leonardo Di Caprio are finally getting together to make a film. The movie is about the Vikings and their culture and will begin shooting in the fall of 2010. Producer Graham King is so excited he could barely contain himself and said, “This will be an awe-inspiring story, created with some of the industry’s finest cinematic talent and I am just over the moon to be making this film with Mel, Leo and Bill [screenwriter William Monahan].”
Well, let’s hope it’s good. Mel Gibson is also a producer and the last big budget movie Mel Gibson produced , “Apocalypto”, did all right. It grossed $50 million domestic and $70 million in foreign box office. Not much to brag about nowadays.
