Papoose Google Videos. Shamele Mackie, also known as Papoose. He was born last December 1978. He is an outstanding American rapper. He came from the Bedford-Stuyvesant part of New York. Papoose started his rapping stint when he was 11. He got his name from her grandma Vivian because he looks like a Native American child. He was first recorded live in 1998 on Roots of Evil album.
