Phil Spector Innocent by Forensics Claims Lawyer

In her closing argument, the lawyer for Phil Spector clearly pointed out that there was no evidence to show that Phil Spector shot, as alleged by the prosecution Lana Clarkson six years ago. What was proven was that Lana Clarkson shot herself in the mouth and there was no DNA evidence of any kind on the gun to say that Phil Spector ever held it.

The prosecution argued that this was the culmination of a pattern of violence Phil Spector had against women. The first trial ended with a hung jury, because California law requires unanimous conviction and this second trial allows the jury to convict for a lesser charge of manslaughter should there be insufficient evidence to convict for murder.

Phil Spector is most noted for his “Wall of Sound” technique in recording. Phil Spector did not testify in the first or second trial, nor did any of the stars he had worked with testified on his behalf.
