Johnny Depp portrays John Dillinger, the infamous gangster leader from the 30’s, in the movie Public Enemies. Director Michael Mann and powerful mix of cast with Christian Bale, Marion Cotillard, Channing Tatum, Billy Crudup, and many more make this real life gangster story even more appealing. It is an interesting fact that Johnny was born and raised not far from where Dillinger grew up and Johnny said it helped to have this connection to the character he was portraying.
