Shaq’s & Wife Separate

Shaquille O'Neal Poor Shaquille O’Neal. His wife Shaunie filed for legal separation in Los Angeles recently. Los Angeles you ask? Don’t they live in Florida? So let us explain the deal.

Shaunie took her kids and left her Florida home and moved her shizz to Los Angeles. She has decided to file for separation then divorce in California instead of Florida and her move was to establish legal separation and a residency in that state. In her paperwork she’s citing “irreconcilable differences” and is also asking for spousal and child support. So why California? Well, the truth is that, although we don’t know this is the real reason (but we suspect), one usually does better in divorce settlements in California and you only need to establish residency there for a while to file for divorce no matter where you’ve lived before. Hmmm, kind of shrewd huh?

But whatever the reason we think it’s a bit harsh for her to take the kids and run. Together the couple has four kids and Shaunie is looking for full custody of all of them.
