Sir Anthony Hopkins Given The Role of Thor’s Dad in ‘Thor’u

who-is-anthony-hopkins You know, for his age, Anthony Hopkins is still a bad ass mofo.

He’s so badass as a matter of fact, that he’s just been cast as Odin, the father of Thor in the new movie “Thor” from the folks at Marvel Comics.

Thor is being played by Chris Hemsworth and Thor’s love interest is none other than Natalie Portman. This should be one hell of a movie. Who cares about Chris Hemsworth. It’s Thor! And it’s got babealiscious Natalie in it. That alone is worth going to see.

But we’ll still have to wait a while for the flick to hit the theatres however. It’s planned for 2010. In the meantime, we’ll wait to see if any gossip arises from the set.
