Now Britney Spears is Also a Designer

For goodness sake. Just because one is a great singer or performer, doesn’t necessarily mean one is a great designer. But you’d think celebrities would realize that wouldn’t you? Nevertheless, adding herself to the long list of celebrity designers (which most have failed miserably at) is our favorite bounced back from craziness celeb Britney Spears.

Although Britney has been the face of the Candie’s shoe brand, now she’ll be designing limited edition apparel and accessories line exclusively for Kohl’s. In an interview with InStyle, Britney said she has been very hands on in the design process and has met with Candie’s designers and sketched some looks as well. “My personal style is a mix of comfortable and flirty. I love cute little dresses, but I also love comfy sweaters and jeans. I used a lot of studs and lace because I wanted to make the clothes cool and edgy yet girly. I also love jeans, so I had to make sure there were some great pairs in the collection”, said Britney.

The collection will also come with handwritten tagline saying things like, “You’ll love these jeans!” and “Designed by me for you!” . Handwritten notes? Let’s see how long that lasts for a Kohl’s mass production schedule.

Miley Disappoints the Gossip Mills

The gossip mill has been harsh recently on the pretty young Miley Cyrus the past few week, and this is with reference to her pathetic as well as desperate performance in her European Performances where she’s happened to dress very scantily.

Miley is lucky to have some great fans, who have stuck to her even after all this lashing. According to her fans, Miley is no different than some past artists who in a desperate attempt to succor up the older audience have resorted to scanty clothes and even danced with the girls.

Let’s take for e.g. Britney Spears who in her initial performances would talk about sex, dance raunchy and although she didn’t have the voice, but managed to get her audience. She does it even now with her stories flogging the internet. So what we don’t understand is why the gossip mill is being so hard on Miley Cyrus.

The same is the story with Lady Gaga, who has absolutely no talent but has managed to grab her own audience with her steamy acts and pathetic clothing.

Things are different with Miley though, since she’s already made her debut with Hannah Montana, giving her the chance to create her fan base, which was not the case with Lady GaGa or even Britney. In other words she does not have to fall on these promotional tactics.

Miley doesn’t like pop music, and since she’s already got her fan base, she has the opportunity to sing songs and work on music of her own choice. Her fans will love and follow her anywhere no matter what. She’s creative, and has all the advantage to take her fans along with her down the creative road.

Let’s hope Miley pays heed to this advice and does what’s best for her.

Britney Spears and Candies

The new Candies ads has Britney Spears featuring in it! The ones who did the photography honors were three noted photographers Annie Leibovitz, Terry Richardson, and Mark Seliger. They seemed to have a ball of a time taking Spears pictures.

Check out the campaign name, very innovative indeed and deep as well,”Britney Spears Through the Lens!”

In one of her statements Spears had even said, “Annie, Mark and Terry are three of the biggest photographers in the world, and I am honored to be working with them for my Candies ads.”

She goes on to say, “It was an amazing shoot, and I know my fans are going to love the cool images.” What more can we say about it, we are pretty much sure that the threesome awesome photographers already feel elated working with Britney and who wont?

The photo shoot was held in Paramount studios in Hollywood sometime at the end of last year and each photographer has their own theme featuring Britney.

Leibovitz’s pictures have Spears against an industrial backdrop, Richardson has her with colorful props on a plain white set and Seliger had a few elaborate sets like the pink dressing inspired by French burlesque pink.

The pictures that were taken were really great and the photographers should be complimented for doing such a brilliant job.

Britney Spears and Jayden Spend their Day Together

Off late Britney has been seen keeping a very low profile, Britney was also spotted running all over the town with son Jayden in the afternoon on Wednesday in Los Angeles (February 10).

Britney started by first heading to the doctor’s office of her son Jayden located at Santa Monica. Like all mothers in the world even Britney is a very protective mother and was holding her son Jayden very close to herself when they were getting back inside the car.

From there both mother and son duo of course accompanied them the security staff went to a local eatery to grab some lunch. But Britney ended up leaving the place quickly after she had decided against public outing.

Recently reporters in the related news have even said that Britney Spears is set to collaborate with GaGa. Sources even say that GaGa has been quite open about her being a huge fan of Miss Spears. GaGa has also admitted that she has many posters of Brit all over her walls also she says that Brit was a source that inspired her while she struggled as a songwriter.

The source even added “before ending the chat Brit and GaGa even exchanged each other’s phone numbers and also agreed on working together in the studio on music after GaGa would finished her tour of Fame Monster.

Kevin Federline Says Britney Spears Made Him Fat

Fat Kevin Federline is excusing his fatness by placing the blame on his ex wife Britney Spears. “Everybody knows what happened with me and Brit,” Kevin told Access Hollywood in a recent interview. “I’m not going to say that’s the total cause of it but, I mean, just not being happy with myself was probably the main part of my depression.”

Kevin continued, “Once you get depressed, you don’t really feel like doing anything. You’re kind of discouraged about yourself and then the weight gain too, or that makes me more depressed… I mean, it’s a combination of all of those things.”

Oh, Oh. Is Britney Spears In Psycho Trouble Again?

Oh come on Britney Spears, you we’re doing so well. We were all rooting for your mental recovery.
Unfortunately we hear that Britney’s dad, Jamie Spears, is warning that he’s going to have her committed to a mental institution if she continues her unstable behavior. According to reports Britney has been having tantrums and even pulling her hair out and she even recently threatened to kill herself while arguing with her dad. “Her dad’s reaction was clear – keep it up and she’ll end up back in a mental ward,” says s family source.

Apparently Britney has been depressed since finding out her father is not willing to break his conservatorship over her. The family source continued by saying, “Britney had her hopes up because her dad told her if she was good and did an Australian concert tour, which ended on Nov. 29, he would free her before Christmas. But when the court extended the conservatorship before Christmas, it shattered Britney. She was thrown for a loop. Britney felt betrayed by her father. At first Jamie kept his distance… But her anger boiled over, and they had a huge fight”.

“Britney had several meltdowns where she literally pulled out her hair, cut her hair and then called someone to put more hair extensions in only to pull or cut it all out again, “ said the source.
Britney was so pissed off she went and checked herself in to the Mondrian Hotel for a week

Does Britney Spears Have a Cheating Boyfriend?

Aww. Poor Britney Spears. It looks like she may be having trouble in the romance department. She has been dating some dude named Jason Trawick who is also her agent. But recently people saw Jason leaving some bar called The Roger Room with some hot babe. The person who saw them leave says that the girl was “a stunning girl who looked like Britney did five years ago.”He had his arms around her and they looked extremely comfortable in each other’s company.”

Come on dude, don’t cheat on Britney. She needs some stability in her life after going through the hell she went through. She just made it out of that hell of a life she had with her ex manager and was just starting to do well again. But then again, if that new chick was hot, then we don’t have much of a defense.

Did Britney Spears Have An Abortion?

Okay, we don’t know how true this is, but the National Enquirer is reporting that Britney Spears had an abortion a while back.

It seems that back when Kevin Federline was a little more in the picture, Britney and K-fed hooked up during the holidays two years ago. Back then some horizontal mambo was involved and a baby was conceived. According to sources Britney then fold Kevin about this and he promptly denied the allegation and accused her of being a hoey floozy and sleeping around. Then, a very sad Britney decided to have an abortion.
Sources close to Britney say that each Holiday season is tough for her because she remembers the incident. “I killed my baby!” she reportedly said during a recent emotional meltdown. And another source says of Britney, “Britney fights depression every Christmas season, but this Christmas been one of the worst for her,.“

Well, we do know one thing: overall she’s improved her life.

Britney Spears’ Conservatorship Extended

We can’t say that Britney Spears having her conservatorship extended isn’t a good idea. In fact, we agree.
Long gone are the days when Britney would cause a raucous by going to the corner store and behaving like an idiot, shaving her head, and getting herself committed to mental institutions.

Under the watchful eye of her father, Jaime Speers, Britney’s life is back on track on a personal and professional level. Gone are the two idiot users and enablers Adan Ghalib and Sam Lutfi who also have restraining orders against them. So why wouldn’t a judge agree to extend the conservatorship since it’s all going well.

And for Jaime, the dad and Andrew Wallet, the co-conservator, they’re doing well under this conservatorship plan as well. Jaime will continue getting $17 thousand a month for his services and Andrew will get a payment of $174 thousand for his services as co-conservator from July to November 2009. The judge is also allowing a $300 thousand payment to pay some attorney’s fees.
Just keep getting better Britney.

Britney Who??

Britney Spears is still a household name, but only when telling jokes!! I don’t think I have heard a positive thing about her since she gave birth to her second son and even that was not too positive considering her situation. How in the hay did a huge icon like Britney Spears allow a wannabe player ruin her life and career?? She went from “OOPS I did it again” to OOPS I fell off again!!! Kev screwed her in more ways than one and now she puts out songs we don’t even know she is singing and she is at 0% on the celebrity radar. What a mistake she made in her life, she could have really been something and now she is a regular Jane Who.
