Dustin Hoffman in ‘Naked City’
June 27, 2009 by OxfordWright1 · Leave a Comment
Just like his colleagues in the business (Robert Duvall, Chistopher Walken and Robert Redford), Dustin Hoffman started with the 1960’s show ‘Naked City’.
Hoffman played two different roles in two different episodes of Naked City. One episode is entitled Sweet Prince of Delancey Street (1961) and Barefoot on a Bed of Coals (1963). Even if he took on serious roles earlier in his career, he embarks on more comedic genres such us being Shifu in Kung Fu Panda and being a Focker in Meet the Fockers where he likes to be naked.
Dustin Hoffman Pics on the premiere of Last Chance Harvey

These Dustin Hoffman pics were taken after the actor was spotted attending the premiere of Last Chance Harvey. The event was held at the Odeon West End last 3rd of June 2009 in London England.
In another photo, he was seen posing with Emma Thompson, who bit his tie. Perhaps, the actress was hungry and couldn’t find anything to eat!
On the movie, Hoffman plays the role of Harvey, who is an American commercial jingle writer. His dream was to become a jazz pianist. He traveled from New York to London to attend his daughter’s wedding but only to realize that he has been fired out of his job upon missing the plane home.

The movie would be interesting to watch on how Hoffman plans to redeem himself…
Hoffman To Switch Careers
March 11, 2009 by Mary Wayne · Leave a Comment
Academy Award winning actor Dustin Hoffman has one unfulfilled life ambition and that is to become jazz pianist.
The “Tootsie” and “Rain Man” actor has starred in many films that were box office successes with his career spanning three full decades. But there is one thing that would make him quit his Hollywood career in a blink of an eye without second thoughts. That career he says is that he can become an accomplished piano player specializing in jazz tunes. With this dream he has began to learn and take lessons in order that he can adequately prepare himself to become what he had set out to be. He intimates that before he would pass away he would have to learn to become a “decent” jazz player. He says that his teacher promises to have him playing jazz tunes in a year’s time. Hoffman says that if God would have him choose between acting or jazz piano, he would decide to become a jazz player in a “New York minute”.
