Jude Law Admits he ‘Adored’ Heath Ledger

“The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus” movie is out and so is a lot of curiosity. The movie was the last film Heath Ledger ever did. Heath died on January 2008 without completing the work and the producers called on Jude Law to take over and finish the film. “When I got the call, it was a double tug,. I liked Heath very much as a man and admired him as an actor. To help finish his final piece of work was a tribute I felt compelled to make.” , said Jude.

But to help finish the film and also save Heath’s performance, director Terry Gilliam also hired Johnny Depp and Colin Farrell each to play a different incarnation of Heath’s character. “To help Terry finish his film was an honor paid to a man I adore,. Though we were all there in remembrance, Heath’s heart pushed us with great lightness to the finish’, continued Jude.

It’s certainly going to be interesting to see how this was done.

Samantha Burke Under Attack

Jude Law’s baby mama, Samantha Burke, has recently come under attack from the British tabloids.

A source spoke to The Mirror saying, “Jude assumed she was on the Pill… He was stunned at being informed of the pregnancy. Jude feels like now he has been made to look the bad guy. One of the reasons their brief relationship didn’t work out is because Samantha was a little too keen. She claimed she was falling in love after just a couple of weeks.”

The 24-year old aspiring actress/model from Pensacola, FL is currently pregnant with the actor’s daughter.  She apparently contacted the actor through his publicist to inform him about the pregnancy after he changed his phone number.

Well if she was confessing her love for him after such or short period of time, it’s no wonder he ditched her and changed his number.

Samantha Burke’s Mom Speaks Out

A bombshell was dropped recently that 35-year-old British actor, Jude Law, is expecting his fourth child with 24-year-old aspiring actress/model Samantha Burke.

Samantha’s mom, Lea Burke, a massage therapist from Pensacola, Fl., told The London Evening Standard Newspaper:  “This was no way planned.  Hell no.  She was in shock when she found out she was pregnant and terrified to tell him…It was tough for her – she was going back to school so she had to change plans. She’s decided to come back home- it is too expensive to stay in New York and she can be with her family.”

I’m sure things are about to get more affordable now that she’s knocked up with Jude’s kid!

Lea continued, “I am already a grandmother, but am of course looking forward to being one again. Every mother would prefer if her daughter had a child with a man she was married to – it would be nice if the father was around but that’s not going to happen because of his job and she knows that, she’s realistic about that.”

She obviously wasn’t being realistic when she had unprotected sex and ended up pregnant. I’m sure the hefty child support payments she’ll get will end any pain of Jude not being by her side.

Although Lea has never met Jude, she trusts her daughter’s opinion of the star: “I don’t know him but my daughter said he was very ‘nice’ – she likes him as a person and they spent time together when she was living in New York.  She treats him like a normal guy and he liked hanging out with her.”

Yeah, he liked hanging out with her so much that he changed his phone number without telling her and she had to contact him through his publicist to inform him about the pregnancy.

Whatever!  Congrats on your son-to-be born grand-daughter little Sophia.

Jude Law is responding to Samantha Burke’s pregnancy

Yesterday, about Samantha Burke’s pregnancy, Jude Law answered back, demanding the pregnant ex-lover have a DNA test to establish his paternity. But earlier, Law was said to deem a DNA test not necessary. Samantha Burke’s family denounced this changeably behavior. Now Samantha Burke says that she is ready to be a single mother, comparing that earlier Samantha said Jude will be “the best daddy in the world”.

As a close friend of Jude said, at the moment Jude isn’t sure that he is the father. He thinks he is – but he wants to be 100 per cent certain. There has been a lot of speculation. But if it is his baby girl, he’ll be there for her every step of the way. Ironically, Jude’s agent said wouldn’t be with Samantha’s birth due to the drama. If the baby comes to the world in the due day, she will share the same birthday with her daddy.

The devoiced UK actor has three children with ex-wife Sadie Frost, Rafferty, 12, Iris, 8, and Rudy, six. Before Burke was knocked up by Law, Kayleen McAdams was identified as the mother of Law’s child.

Jude Law Naked: Demands Paternity Test

Jude Law is to demand DNA testing to be certain that he is the father of the baby that model Samantha Burke is carrying. The actor, however maintained that he is to stand by Samantha and the Baby, but has told friends that he needs to be “100 percent certain” that the child is his. Law’s spokesperson refused to provide additional comment on the paternity testing.

Law was reported to have claimed that he only slept with the model once, after a drunken party. The model’s family, on the other hand, maintains that the relationship between the model and Law lasted a forthnight before the actor flew back to England and dumped the model cold.

Jude Law to Be A Dad…Again

Jude Law has stepped up to the plate to tackle fatherhood again, only this time with former lover Samantha Burke.

Law met Burke, who is a 24-year old aspiring actress from Pensacola, FL, in New York last year, where he was on location filming Sherlock Holmes.

A source told Radar, “Samantha was trying to reach Jude to tell him she was having his child but she couldn’t get a hold of him…He had given her a cell phone number but it was no longer working and Jude was working on a film. Finally, Samantha contacted Jude-through his publicist! She had to go through his PR person to inform him she was pregnant with his child, a baby girl she’s already named Sophia! I don’t think he believed her, at first. But she passed a DNA test so he had no choice but to recognize the fact that he was the dad.”

Doesn’t seem like they had much of a relationship if she couldn’t even get in contact with him.

A representative for the actor said, “Jude Law can confirm that, following a relationship last year, he has been advised that he is to be the father of a child due in the fall of this year. Mr. Law is no longer in a relationship with the individual concerned but he intends to be a fully supportive part of the child’s life. This is an entirely private matter and no other statements will be made.”

This will be Jude’s fourth child.  He already has three kids with his ex-wife, Sadie Frost — Rafferty, 12, Iris, 8, and Rudy, 6.

A representative for Samantha told People, “Jude and Samantha remain committed to the health and well-being of this child, and appreciate your honoring her privacy during this special time. This remains a private matter between Jude Law and Samantha Burke.”

Don’t bet on getting privacy anytime soon. Photos of celebrity babies are a hot commodity-you won’t get any peace from the paparazzi until little Sophia is at lead 5-years old.

Jude Law Being Father Again

News from TMZ says that Jude Law, a father of three children with his ex-wife, Sadie Frost, is expecting a fourth child. The mystery pregnant woman is Samantha Burke, Jude Law’s ex-lover, an actress and model. TMZ also confirmed the gossip by saying that DNA tests make it quite clear– Jude’s the daddy.

Jude Law and Samantha Burke began in a relationship from 2008, but they broke up earlier this year. Now it’s confirmed from the actor’s rep that the 36-year-old actor is expecting a fourth child with her.

From Burke’s online registry at Babies “R” Us, reporter also found out her due date. It’s October 6th. It says she’s expecting a girl the baby will named as Sophia.

Burke’s attorneys stated that by a DNA test Ms. Burke can confirm that she is expecting Jude Law’s child later this fall and she informed him of the pregnancy. If the statement is exactly the truth, Jude Law has no choice but be responsive and supportive of Ms. Burke and the pregnancy.

From now on, Jude Law hasn’t commented on this affair. So where are the couple going? Let’s leave this question to the couple themselves.

The latest rendition of the infamous detective Sherlock Holmes stars Robert Downey junior as Holmes, Jude Law as his partner Watson, and Rachel McAdams as his love interest Irene Adler. This has to be the most entertaining, close to comic, version of the famous detective’s investigative adventures. I think Jude should have been the Holmes in the movie since Robert does not really have the Englishman look. Jud Law Headed To Broadway

Jude Law is scheduled to hit the Broadway stage for a 12-week stint. Jude will bring Donmar Warehouse production of Shakespeare’s Hamlet to Broadway after it completes it’s sold out London run followed by a short run in Denmark

Law’s last appearance on the New York stage was in 1995 when he made his Tony Award-nominated debut in Jean Cocteau’s Indiscretions.

Previews of the play are set to begin September 12th and will officially open on October 6th.
