The Twilight Saga Continues with Eclipse

If you’re busy standing in a line as you read this, you’re likely standing around waiting for one of two things, either tickets to the new Twilight: Eclipse movie or a new iPhone 4. However, as much as Apple fans are likely to want to lynch me for saying this, the lines for Eclipse are much longer and everyone it seems wants to see the movie, certainly much more than they want an iPhone 4 (sorry Steve Jobs).

 
The movie is the third in the highly acclaimed Twilight series and tells the ongoing saga of Edward and Bella, the star crossed couple we came to love in the first two movies. Assuming the movie follows closely on the plans of the book, the story should begin with the revelation that several murders are plaguing the good people of Seattle and Edward is of the opinion that the murders are the work of his fellow blood suckers.

At the same time that all this is going on, Allen Cullen predicts that Victoria has returned to Forks and is seeking Bella’s head on a platter. Literally. Jacob is also in the mix, as he overhears Bella and Edward discussing their plans for marriage. However, when Bella kisses him in order to shut him up, she realizes that she’s involved in a love triangle and will have to work hard to find a way out of her dilemma (oh whatever is a vampire struck girl to do?).

The new movie, which is coming out less than a year after the second film in the series was released is sporting a new director, David Slade. That’s because of the tight release schedule, which meant that New Moon director Chris Weiz was unable to offer his services for the latest film (he was still busy with post production on New Moon when shooting for Eclipse began). However, the movie does have the same screenwriter, Mellisa Rosenberg and of course all the stars are returning, including Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner. Rachelle Lefever however, who played the role of Victoria was not cast for this film due to scheduling conflicts. Instead, she has been replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard.

An official red carpet premier of the movie was held/will be held (depending on when you read this) on June 24 while the movie itself will be coming to theaters for the general public on June 30.

Robert Pattinson Says he Thinks He’ll Die By 30

This is kind of a strange thing to say, but Twilight star Robert Pattinson, who is only twenty four years old, says “I’m going to die at thirty”.

Robert was recently interviewed and asked about the incredible success he’s has in just a few years. He replied saying, “I guess I just thought if too many good things happen, then you’re going to die at 30. I didn’t want that to happen.”Yeah, so probably, I’m going to die at 30. Actually, it’s God saying, ‘Hey, you shouldn’t have asked for too much.’”

Kind of a pessimistic thought. But he does say he’s enjoying his current fame even though he has a lot less privacy. “I used to spend a lot of time walking in cities by myself, and I can’t really do that without being, um, a little paranoid,” he says. “You get better at hiding and you get better at choosing which areas are the right areas to go to. And you also get better at interacting with strangers.”

Well, hopefully Robert will be around past thirty.

Love Bites- Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson

Looks like the vampire lovers this time have been bitten by the love bug and are readily accepting it! Almost a year after these rumors began, Robert Pattinson has for the very first time confessed that he and the Twilight star Kristen Stewart are seeing each other. The mystery about their relationship status is driving fans all over loopy.

According to the grapevine the pair was dating since the release of their movie Twilight in 2008, however they always denied rumors.

As per reports Robert continued to keep his relationship status secret till the Sunday’s BAFTA in London, however admitted the same when the couple attended the post-do dinner together.

The pair in the beginning of the award ceremony went to extreme lengths not to make a public appearance like a couple because of devoted fans.

They walked in for the ceremony separately and did not even sit together throughout the BAFTA which was held in London. But immediately after they were out of public sight they were together, a lot! So much for secrets!…..

Kristen who was awarded for her performance in Orange Rising Star walked in for the dinner along with security guards. Once they were in for the afterparty Pattinson and Stewart whose next movie, Eclipse, will be out for release in July were almost over each other. They were photographed leaving around midnight. Their presence was obviously smitten however they still felt the need to hide their relationship from the world.

‘New Moon’ Breaks Box Office Records At $141 Million!

Effen A! the follow up to “Twilight”, “New Moon”, just set an effen box office record for the vampire series! They opened up to a weekend with an estimated $140.7 million spread over 4,024 theaters. And this is just the domestic totals! This box office total puts them right behind “The Dark Knight” which had the highest box office opening at $158.4 million and “Spiderman 3” which was number two in all time records with $151.1 million in ticket sales. “New Moon” bumped “Pirates of The Caribbean: Dead Men’s Chest” which had a box office opening of $135.6 million.

Well, we know one thing. Agents for Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are sure to have negotiated even better salaries for any upcoming films. Let’s just hope that Kristen doesn’t get any more swollen headed and obnoxious than she’s already gotten.

Does Kristen Stewart Love Robert Pattinson as both of them have been spotted kissing in public and having eyes just for each other? There has been a lot of speculation about their status as a couple and it seems that they are very much together.

The Twilight co stars had always had a great bonding and they have said to have spent a lot of time reading, laughing and having long conversations during the filming of the movie.

Robert never hid the fact that he found her very attractive and was quite open in expressing it in spite of the fact that she had a boy friend.

He was also supposedly dating Nikki Reed but she seems to be out of the picture for a long time now. They look so good together and share an amazing chemistry both on and off screen.

The fact that they are coming out more in the public eye is a confirmation that they would like others to know about them and are not shy of accepting their wonderful relationship.

At the recent Kings of Leon concert in Canada, two Twilight stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson were spotted getting cozy and almost kissing. Rumors are going around that the lovebirds of the sizzling vampire series might be actually in love off the set. The rumors might be true since Kristen Stewart Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson was seen leaving her apartment in his green convertible Porsche last week. This is shortly after rumors surfaced that Kristen Stewart might be pregnant with Robert Pattinon’s child.

The actress dismissed the rumors calling them “absurd” and further intimated that those rumors were baseless and did not make any sense. What is so intriguing about the whole matter is why the two were hanging out until late in the night at a concert and yet the filming of the “Eclipse which is a movie that follows the Twilight series had ended.

Watch this space; soon something big is likely to put our suspicions to rest. Kristen Stewart was so excited about the new movie and hopes the fans will appreciate it the way they did with the twilight series. The actress has a busy schedule ahead with the filming of her new movie the “New Moon” set to start soon where she will be starring against Jackson Rathbone. The other movie which she is currently working on “Welcome to the Riley” in which she will be required to act as a stripper will soon hit the cinemas.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have both risen to fame for their roles in the hugely popular Twilight movies.  The intense romance between their characters on screen has fueled rumors that the two may actually be in love.

Recently sources close to the couple have confirmed that the two are indeed dating.

“Rob and Kristen are definitely together.  Rob has been crazy about Kristen since they first started filming Twilight. Even though Kristen had a boyfriend at the time, Rob made sure she knew he was crazy about her,” a source told OK! magazine.

OK! also reports that the two are spending nights together at Pattinson’s suite at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Center while they are shooting the sequel to Twilight. Sources say that the two seem deeply in love with each other.

While the couple usually keeps their romance low profile, they displayed their affection for all to see by making out during an August 15^th Kings of Leon concert held in Vancouver’s GM Palace arena.

Studio bosses are not too thrilled about the couple’s openly romantic displays.  An insider tells OK! that the studios “fear that if a romance between Rob and Kristen is confirmed Twilight fans won’t buy into the screen chemistry between Taylor and Kris.”

This may be the reason why the couple has toned down their relationship while working.

“There are these subtle pats and glances on set, but they save the real kisses for after the sun goes down, late at night, when you see them disappear into their hotel,” a source tells OK!.

The two did make time to sneak off for a romantic weekend in September.  The couple stayed in an intimate two bedroom Fairview Farm bed and breakfast on Mayne Island.  The couple mostly remained in their room and avoided talking to the other guests.

Biography for Robert Pattinson

Robert Pattinson was born on May 13, 1986 in London, England.  His mother, Clare worked for a modeling agency and his father, Richard imported vintage cars from the United States.  Pattinson has two older sisters.

Following a short lived modeling career, Pattinson joined the Barnes Theatre Company when he was 15.  He performed in several amateur plays.  He also performed in Ring of the Nilbelurgs and as Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

He is best known for his role as Edward Cullen in the wildly popular Twilight series.  Pattinson beat out 3,000 other contenders for the role and admits to taking a quarter of Valium to calm his nerves before auditioning for the role.  His relationship with his Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart, who plays Cullen’s love interest Bella Swan, has been the focus of tabloid speculation since the pair’s steamy scenes in the first movie installment.

Pattinson has musical talents as well.  He plays the guitar and the piano and composes his own music.  He sings two songs on the Twilight soundtrack, “Never Think” and “Let Me Sign”.

Pattinson is slated to perform in two upcoming movies Little Ashes and How to Be along with the sequel to Twilight, New Moon which began filming in March of 2009. He currently resides in the Los Angeles area and boasts not having a girlfriend at this time.

It was absolutely to nobody’s surprise! Robert Pattinson and Twilight dominated the 11th Annual Teen Choice 2009 Awards at the Gibson Theatre on Sunday night. Pattinson slip into his belt the awards for Best Actor Drama and Male Hottie. However, what was more surprising is that the awards night was seemed to have been made for Pattinson and Megan Fox. The Duo made the crowd frezie as they accepted their Choice Hottie surfboards.

The Twilight ctor turned superstar Pattinson and the Transformers leading lady were once rumored to have dated.
