All industries have bad apples. The entertainment industry is no different. However, we sometimes forget that show business is a “business”, we get caught up in the glamour and forget there is investment money to be made. Well, if you’re thinking about making a movie and want to consider a highly paid celebrity , then according to Forbes magazine, the following are your worst investments for each dollar you spend on hiring them.
At the top worst investment for your dollar is 1) Will Ferrell because for every dollar he is paid he earns producers only $3.29. Following him are 2)Ewan McGregor ( who gives a return of $3.75); 3) Dumb ass Billy Bob Thornton ($4.00); 4) Eddie Murphy ($4.43); 5) Ice Cube ($4.77); 6) Tom Cruise ($7.18); 7) Drew Barrymore ($7.43); 8th) Leonardo DiCaprio ($7.52); 9) Samuel L. Jackson ($8.59); and finishing the list for worst investment for your producing dollar is 10) Jim Carrey ($8.62).
