The media has been like a circus over the past nine days or so as the world comes to terms with the fact that Michael Jackson is dead.
There have been loads of rumours that have been flying around the press that have been talking about various things, including how he is going to be buried and what he is going to be buried in.
Some of these rumours have proved to be true, some untrue and some simply seen as true by the family but changed at a later date.
A fine example of this is the funeral of the superstar, which was meant to be taking place this Sunday. Legal circumstances have seen this change and now the final resting place of the star is unknown, aswell as the date of when this will take place.
What is known is that a memorial for the star is taking place on Sunday. A private memorial for close family will be held before the public are able to pay their respects later on Tuesday at the Staples Center.
There are questions about what the plans are for the memorial. Yesterday, we reported that a parade of elephants was going to be present at the memorial event which is to take place in Los Angeles.
Today, there are rumours that some of Michael’s closest friends like Liz Taylor, Paul McCartney (former member of The Beatles) and Diana Ross could have key roles in the event.
Ross’ role comes as it was confirmed that she was asked in Jackson’s will to stand in for his mother Katherine in the event for her death to be guardian of Michael’s three children. There are rumours that Debbie Rowe is currently considering whether or not she wants to pursue her case for custody of the two eldest of the three children in a Court of Law.
