Who starred in Melrose Place? Daphne Zuniga was cast in the role of Jo Reynolds for the show, but she was already a television veteran as she appeared on Family Ties a decade earlier.
After she left the show, she was able to find work in American Dreams and in Nip/Tuck. She also appeared in the CW hit shoe One Tree Hill and has appeared in movies since then with acting credits in The Sure Thing and Modern Girls. She was also into comedy with Spaceballs and Gross Anatomy but also appeared in horror flicks such as The Fly II. In 2004, she has fallen victim to mercury poisoning as a direct result of eating sushi four times a week prior to being diagnosed with the illness.
