Who was on X Files? Gillian Anderson’s role in the show is that FBI Special Agent Dana Scully. The original agreement for her stint was for thirteen shows but it eventually got extended to nine seasons and two films. She has won acclaim for her role on the show, which includes an Emmy, a Golden Globe and two SAG awards for Best Actress in a Drama Series.
She was also awarded for her performance in Bleak House, earning a BAFTA nomination and a win for Broadcasting Press Guild Television and Radio Award for Best Actress.
